I’m back and I’ve missed you!

Baby L

Have you missed me?  (Did you even notice that I was gone for so long?)

I’ve missed all of you and I’ve missed this little hobby of mine.

Things have been busy on our little homestead and I’ve been really, REALLY, tired.

If the picture above doesn’t give it away, we’re eagerly anticipating our fourth child.  (Yes, I realize that this might require a renaming of the blog. :) )

Our newest little addition will be joining us in November and we are very excited.

I’ve been more tired, more sick and more overwhelmed with this pregnancy than with any of the other three, which is why my absence of over a month, unexpectedly, occurred.  However, as the second trimester sets in, I’m feeling much better and have a lot more energy and hope to get back to this space with regularity. I really do love sharing here and learning from all of my readers.

So tell me, what’s been going on in your life?

  1. Congratulations! I am so happy for you!

  2. Welcome to the 4 kidlets club!! It’s a adventure!!

  3. Tiffany says:

Congratulations! I’m also due in November (the 22nd). I’m glad you’re feeling better, trust me, I understand! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. :)

    • Congrats to you Tiffany! The 22nd was my due date at first but then they moved it to the 10th…. I’m figuring somewhere between the 10th and the 22nd this little peanut will arrive :)

  4. Congrats! You’re pretty brave having that many children. I had 3 (blended family) and that was enough for us, mentally emotionally and financially. Good luck and make sure you get plenty of rest :)

  5. Congratulations!! I feel your pain as we are expecting our 4th in late dec/early jan!!

  6. Claudette says:

Glad you are back and super congrats!! Do you know what you are having or is it going to be a surprise?
Can’t wait for more posts :)

  7. Congratulations Colleen!! We missed you – but what happy news! Hang in there. I’ll bet the second trimester will be better for you.

  8. Great news! Congratulations! I’m amazed you can blog as much as you do, pregnant or not! What a powerhouse!

  9. It was rough until I figured out how to not be sick, if I start slow in the mornin I’m fine & no greasy food or sweets. It did not seem real until my dr appt because all my kids have July bdays!! My garden is not lookin so great as I just figured out how to feel good. :)

  10. Welcome back!!! It’s summer vacation around here and I’m pretty tired too… kids 24/7, pool, outside play, trying to entertain them and not let them wreck the house… playdates, swim lessons, trying to squeeze some gardening in here and there… nothing so exciting as your news!!!

  11. Wonderful news! Congratulations.

  12. Congratulations!
